Overview: Another set of Pyrate Press "fanthologies", paralleling their Masters of Weird Fiction series and covering similar dark territories. In the two volumes here we get:
James Wade’s Mythos fiction, that had previously been published in a range of anthologies (The Hastur Cycle, The New Lovecraft Circle and the earlier releases of Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos) and obscure fanzines (The Dark Brotherhood, Arkham Collector and HPL), which Lovecraft scholar Robert M. Price describes as being dated by their attempts to update Lovecraftian themes to be more relevant to the times, but "very entertaining" and "so well written that they are still just as enjoyable".
R. Chetwynd-Hayes’ horror shorts, drawing on his substantial short story output.
