Pyforial Mage series by B.T. Narro (#2-#3)
Requirements: Epub reader, 5.60 Mb
Overview: B T (Brian Thoele) Narro was born in 1985, in San Francisco, California, where he still lives. He has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of California Riverside.
He loves intricate stories with surprises, humor, romance, but above all, deeply developed characters and worlds that are so real they seem to live on once the novel is finished. This is what he strives for as a writer.
Brian’s passion for fantasy started in elementary school. He had a lot of great teachers, one of which was his sixth grade English teacher, Rick Riordan (author of the Percy Jackson novels). Brian was fortunate enough to have Riordan read and provide feedback for Brian’s first fantasy manuscript, which he completed in college. (It was terrible, but Riordan was very helpful and nice about it.)
Genre: Fantasy
Wrath Games (Pyforial Mage Trilogy #2)
With war escalating, Neeko knows he will be sent to battle soon. Meanwhile, his mother’s cunning murderer will stop at nothing to kill him. But these dangers don’t compare to what’s coming, what no one in the North can defend against except for him.
Forced down crossroads that are sure to change the course of his life no matter which path he chooses, Neeko must use everything he’s learned to stay alive and protect the North. Unfortunately, that still might not be enough. He thought he’d already seen the most horrible savagery with the murder of his mother, but the worst is yet to come.
Pyforial Games (Pyforial Mage Trilogy #3)
The war has claimed thousands of lives, and it will claim thousands more unless Neeko can stop it. Of his own volition, he plans to travel through hostile territory, to the well-fortified capital of the South to find and slay the Southern king. If this wasn’t difficult enough, the Northern army—headed in the same direction—has orders to kill Neeko on sight.
But there are three people still on his side. Unfortunately, their assistance comes with a whole new set of challenges. There’s a psychic accused of murder who recently escaped custody, a chemist from a foreign land who cares little about the war and only seeks revenge for his fallen ally, and a mage whose guilt over recent events has her acting without prudence or patience. It isn’t long before it becomes clear to all of them that trusting each other could prove more difficult than assassinating the king.
