#1 – Seraphim Ascent
"Hail permutations, paving the way for a brighter road tomorrow!"

After waking up in the morgue of an abandoned sanitarium, Rey has only a toe tag to her name and no recollection as to how she got there.

With a country staggered by a global war called the Long Winter, she finds herself in a city under martial law and a government now split into two authorities known as the Western Order and Eastside Republic. In a nation divided with only pockets of civilization, laws have been altered so that defiant personalities are rewritten by a regimen described as "the permutation".

Though her memories are fractured, Rey is forced to choose a side when she is caught in the middle of a civil war between the governments and an organization calling themselves the Vorpals. Before long, Rey is labeled an enemy of the state and a terrorist herself, and must embrace her past if she has any hope to unearth her stolen identity from the Chancellor of the Western Order.

They say that time heals, and the truth will set you free. But as Rey unearths who she is and why she awakened in that morgue, she will learn that she is connected to both sides of this blood-spattered coin, and her role in it all will beg to question if the truth is a skeleton she wants digging out of the closet.

#2 – Seraphim Storm
"This is your wakeup call, Mr. Wakeman…"

Nothing has been the same since the Second Cataclysm had left the Capitol of the Western Order in ruins. Years later, people have picked up the scattered pieces and managed to rebuild their lives. Fugitives have even adapted to the change in management under new identities.

Tejinder Wakeman, former Archiver and descendant of the original chancellors, does not have the luxury of starting a new life. Not only is he driven into hiding as an outlaw working for a cyberterrorist organization, but he learns that he has become a bargaining chip against a potential war, and it might have something to do with the Mnemotechnic Serial Bridge — the computer hardware wired into his brain.

Soon several cities within the Eastside Republic and the Western Order are attacked with an epidemic people are starting to call Webcap, causing the divided governments to unite under a common goal:

Find the Archiver, and hand him over to the race of synthetic humans that want what’s in his head.

Except that war is coming, no matter what. The only thing it’ll stop at is the one thing that Tejinder has left — his life. And handing that over may be the biggest mistake humanity can make.
