Overview: I was born and raised in Leeds, England to loving parents that both worked in the medical field. At a very young age I was curious and fascinated with dragons, and was inclined to writing short stories about them. I was drawn and had a special interest in the Supernatural so most of my reading pertained to it.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
1. Loved by The Alpha Bear – Clara likes being on her own: That’s why she moved to the small town of Port Murmure, Nova Scotia: for peace and solitude, as well as to avoid the watchful, fussing eye of her mother. Clara’s muscular sclerosis has gotten worse every year since she graduated high school. In college, she was a renowned cello player. Ever since having to switch to a wheelchair for mobility, Clara’s been avoiding her beloved instrument for fear that she’ll become some poster child for disability that she doesn’t want to be.
Torn up by grief over the loss of his mate, Nathan runs away from his home on Prince Edward Island. When he quietly breaks into Clara’s home for a night of rest without the risk of his fellow shifters sniffing him out, he accidentally injures her. Guilt won’t let him abandon her like this, not when he has medical training, but the longer he stays the more he doesn’t want to leave her–or the feelings he’s developed.
Clara knows she shouldn’t trust Nathan. He’s distant, he’s volatile because of a condition that makes him uncontrollable when he shifts, and he’s withholding info from her. Worst of all, Clara’s seen the news and she thinks he might be the runaway suspect for the murder on Prince Edward Island. As they get closer, though, Clara finds herself desperate to unearth the real Nathan and all of the baggage that comes with it. Clara’s told her mother over and over that she doesn’t need a man to take care of her, but Nathan doesn’t treat her like she needs to be taken care of. There’s a hurting, grieving man inside of the bear she’s found herself attached to, and Clara’s convinced that man isn’t a murderer.
Nathan’s fellow bear shifters have followed him here, though, and they’re determined to drag him back home with them. Nathan’s afraid to open up because of what happened to his last mate, but if he doesn’t he might lose Clara forever.
2. Adored by The Alpha Bear – Alice Lenore may be a renowned romance writer, but she’s not so good at the real-life thing. She’s never been good with people, having dealt with debilitating social anxiety for her whole life. Men are a whole different ballgame. After being ditched by her ex-fiancé, she’s felt completely locked out of the dating game.
When she hires a housekeeper to help organize things and he turns out to be a stunningly gorgeous man named Luka, Alice finds herself in a state of conflict. As afraid of intimacy as she is, she can’t help but feel drawn to him. Luka’s flirting with her, too, which makes her feel like she just might have a chance. No matter how hard she tries, though, she can’t seem to get any personal information out of him? Who is this quiet housecleaner, anyways, and why won’t he talk to her?
In town to help track down the runaway brother of a fellow shifter, Luka Oxendine is just trying to blend in and get a job he can easily ditch when the time is right. His employer, however, seems to have other plans. When Alice catches him shifting, the jig is up and Luka knows he has to cut things off before it’s too late. The longer he stays, though, the more he discovers that he likes so much about her, even her flightiness.
Luka knows they could never work. He’s long believed that relationships between humans and shifters are doomed to failure. His probable future mate, Raine, reminds him of this. But is he willing to accept a loveless relationship with another bear shifter, or does he want more than that?
