Shelly McCormick is trying to find a way to get back to the mainland from the island of Guam to the only family she has left, her sister Cate, after her zombie infected daughter kills her husband. Scared and alone, Shelly tries to make her way across the island to the Navy base in hopes that a ship can take her to California. She comes across a group that is headed in the same direction that aid her in her journey. Though the island is small it won’t be an easy task to get to the Navy base as the Zombie virus is rapidly spreading and a Typhoon is headed towards the island.

It’s been six months since the zombie apocalypse started and Cate has been focusing only on the art of survival. In reality Cate has been trying to keep herself from worrying about her sister Shelly, the only family she has left, who was stranded on Guam when the plague began. Though the zombies may not be the worst thing to fear as the people running the complex Cate has been staying are starting to go mad with power. Cate and her new friend Natalie will need to find safety but in a desert over run by the dead, is there anywhere safe?
