Overview: I was just given an assignment in my English class to write about what I want to be when I grow up. I decided “serial killer” but I could not write that so I put down “medical doctor”. I guess both professions make life and death decisions. I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. I don’t know what my parents would think or how my friends would react if they knew what I really, really want to be. Most teens hate someone asking them things like that as if a 17-year-old really knows. I do know. I have been thinking this for a long, long time and putting it in my journal.
I have encrypted my journal so even my nosy little sister won’t find it and my lame parents really don’t have a clue so I think I am safe. When I read about serial killers being found out, it is because of their big mouths or something that can be traced back to them. I have to have an outlet and my outlet is going to be my diary. When I am ready, I will act.
