Overview: I got the idea for the Chris Seely series from the old TV show ‘Run For Your Life’, where the character is saddled with a terminal diagnosis and tries to go for as much gusto as he can in the time he has left. My character Chris has a slightly different psychological make-up, and he twists the concept. For the Pike Gillette Time Travel series, I thought it would be interesting to take a character from a small town All-American high school situation and throw an atypical life-changing event at him. Once upon a time, I was a newspaper writer for the San Francisco Chronicle.

Pike didn’t sign up for this. And he would ignore it. Except his conscience won’t let him. All he wants . . . Is to finish his senior year. Like any normal kid. With a minimum of drama. But that would be way too simple. On a family vacation . . . A Perfect-Storm . . .And he discovers . . .He can Pick-and-Choose events . . . and Re-Set them. And when a present-day tragedy hits too close . . . Messing with the laws of the universe . . . becomes the diciest proposition of his life.
