Anomie (#1)
Come for the triggered NPCs; stay for the interesting in-game world characters!

Earth is on the brink of destruction and will go out with a whimper and not a bang. Intelligent and self-respecting men want out, but when they are given a way out, what will they do with it? When offered a chance in a new world, what will they do with it? How much of the dysfunction is nature, and how much is nurture? Earth cannot be saved, but can this new world be preserved? Or will it suffer the same fate?

Jeffery Anderson has had enough. While life on Earth offers copious amounts of bread and circuses, it does not provide anything more than that. On top of the general feeling of malaise and lack of any real purpose, the entire world is on a snowball’s trajectory of self-destruction. All this changed with the announcement of Phoenix Rising Online. While another game would hardly help matters, a conversation with a suspiciously well-informed individual makes him believe the world is far more than just a game. Finally given a worthy goal, he sacrifices everything but himself for it and makes the swap over, choosing to live within this new world instead of Earth permanently. But the world of PRO, while lacking the dishonest problems of Earth, has plenty of honest problems instead and is far from a safe or friendly place despite being generally healthy. Can he answer both the offers and demands it makes of him? Now that he has something worth fighting for and protecting, will he, and how will he? What can change the nature of a man? And will these changes be for the better or for the worse?

Animosity (#2)
Jeffery Anderson had enough and wanted out. He made it off of Earth by a narrower margin than he believed and adapted remarkably quickly to his new life as Gerulf Adams despite the intense welcome he received. That which didn’t kill him made him stronger though and through sheer determination, he forged a new start for himself.

Aside from personal improvements, and headway against what might have been the greatest enemy – himself, he’d also begun to make friends. One could only fight alone to a point, after which they’d be overwhelmed by various pointy things in enemy hands. Speaking of enemies, those proved like hydra heads – defeating one makes several more appear. Unless you kill them with fire, something he’s proved remarkably adept at.

The orcs intended a full on invasion, but not just yet. First their allies, acting from within would weaken the target while strengthening their own advance. The invading hordes would come after.

Can Gerulf and friends defend their people from threats both without and within on multiple fronts?

Antipode (#3)
What do you call over ten thousand orcs in front and even more numerous enemies behind?
A target-rich environment.

They’re here…

The time for preparation is over as Hillfar faces enemies from both without and within! But all those who would conspire against civilized life in general and humanity in particular will find that it is not fighting for a lost cause and will be all the more vicious in its defense as a result. No, they’d find those who’d write off fake humans the fastest would unite with real ones most fanatically!

But would that spirit spare them from fates worse than death? And what is happening in the rest of the region?

Choices will meet consequences and F about will meet find out in the third part of this not trilogy!
