They have also found the long-lost leader of the Kahuna Council, Lopaka’s own father, Paden, a man who has given up his family for a cannibal king in the South Seas.

Paden – Paden “Keneti” Campbell’s metamorphosis from a Scottish medical student in the Hawaiian Islands to an immortal, shapeshifting warrior husband of a Samoan Cannibal King has come with a heavy price. His path takes a twisted, unprecedented turn when he is granted his freedom thanks to his son Lopaka. Both Lopaka and his husband Kimo have rescued Paden, who is now in search of his own destiny and a kinder, gentler love than his violent, powerful husband.

15. First Foot – Kimo and Lopaka have taken their whole family to Scotland for an old-fashioned Christmas in a magnificent castle in the snowy Cairngorm Mountains. Their host, the Earl of Glennich, is a fanatic for Christmas and follows all the ancient traditions once banned in Scotland for four hundred years, until 1958.

16. Pele’s Fire – Kimo Wilder, Honolulu’s hottest kahuna, longs for the simple life. He adores his husband, Lopaka, and their three rambunctious children, but sometimes he dreams of peace and quiet. When he and Lopaka watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on TV, Kimo becomes obsessed with taking it easy. He longs to relax, think about nothing more than having sex with Lopaka and eating candy. He reckons he could have been a swell fry cook on Venus…only Goddess Pele has other ideas.
