Overview: We are a man and a woman, a husband and wife, dedicated to giving existence to books of fiction. Between us we possess a doctorate and years of practical experience in film, theater, and television. Thanks to our rich international family backgrounds we convey a wealth of experiences and points of view. We have lived in different cultures, are multilingual, and bring to our writing a broad understanding of human nature.
David is a producer, director, and actor who has been involved in films, television, and theater. When he entered drama school he wrote his first play, and over the years has written poetry, short stories, and screenplays. He grew up surrounded by historians (his mother being one of them), anthropologists, and archeologists. These experiences informed him with a deep understanding of other cultures, both ancient and modern.
Victoria grew up in a family of artists and storytellers. Her father was appointed as Artistic Director of the Royal Theater. Victoria’s mother was a well-known theatrical costume designer, and esthéticienne. From an early age Victoria participated in the critique process of her father’s novels, screenplays, and plays, as well as her mother’s designs. This creative practice propelled her life-long passion for story telling that stimulates imagination.

#1 – The Gift of the Twin Houses
Sarah Salas buried her clairvoyance at age six, bowing to her family’s insistence that she become “normal” to fit into society. But the opposite occurred. Sarah’s struggle to suppress her psychic abilities forced her into a lonely, isolated life.
Fifty years later, soon after Sarah accepts an offer too tempting to refuse, as if on cue, her clairvoyance bursts out, compelling her to abandon her safe life and relocate to a secluded house in the North Cascades of Washington State.
An irresistible psychic pull leads her to a box full of old photographs in the attic. Each photo offers a story to Sarah’s paranormal senses. One by one, the deceased residents of not only her house, but also its twin, the home of her neighbor Conrad Thompson, share a fragmented tapestry of jealousy, incest, and murder. As Sarah explores the past, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to Conrad. Alone most of her life, she’s now surrounded by Conrad’s loving family—alive and dead. Only once before did she attempt love but the relationship ended in heartache and humiliation. Unless Conrad can accept Sarah for all she is, history could repeat itself—a disgrace Sarah dares not relive.
#2 – Secrets of Innocence
Sarah Thompson, although still learning how to manage her powerful psychic abilities, emerged stronger after her adventures in The Gift of the Twin Houses. She opened her heart to her new family and left behind the fear of being different. But with so much more in her life now, her unruly sixth sense could derail her—and that means she has much more to lose.
Sarah’s new adventure in Secrets of Innocence begins when she finds an unconscious man on the side of the road who has been badly beaten and can’t remember anything, not even his own name. Her subconscious conjures up a movie. Could it be a spirit trying to communicate? As she tries to interpret the irksome film and unravel the mystery that surrounds the gentle amnesiac, she uncovers a trail of deception, regret, and violence.
She will also have to dodge Sheriff Williams who finds Sarah’s psychic abilities suspicious, and labels her a witch. Facing enmity from the sheriff, Sarah and her husband, Conrad, are on their own in an increasingly dangerous search for the truth.
#3 – Jackal in the Mirror
In Jackal in the Mirror, Sarah once again takes center stage in a disturbing mystery that starts the moment she enters a timeworn bookstore in Eureka, opens a book, and a terrifying scream escapes from its pages.
Eureka, California, the Victorian seaport famous for its paranormal stories, is the spot Sarah’s friends pick for their all-women four day escape. But for Sarah the location instantly stirrs a premonition, and it’s not about the tales of hauntings that make up Eureka’s distinctive history. It’s a restless spirit reaching out to her. The voice emanating from the book insists that Sarah must help. But refuses to say who, how, or why. The only clue it offers is an ominous novel filled with scenes of illicit passion, deception, and murder. When the book mysteriously transforms into a collection of poems, Sarah is stumped.
Away from the safety of her husband and home, Sarah is on her own to follow a perilous search to uncover the threat and save the lives of unsuspecting victims.
