How can Michael possibly survive?
Then one day Mike’s world changes and he becomes a superhero, well not a superhero per se, like Batman, or Thor, more Mighty Mouse, only minus the mighty, but add a truck load of courage. Yeah, cowabunga dudes. Single-handed our hero saves the day, rescues the fair maidens and lives happily ever after.
Such a simple story, and yet intertwined with intrigue, secrets, misinformation and confessions that will blow your head apart. Not literally, more figuratively. And yet this is an explosive story, and one that will test Mike’s resilience and fortitude.
What makes a man a man? Is it physical appearance, or a commanding aura, or the ability to satisfy a woman in bed, or atop the washing machine, or in the bath, or at the beach or…? Err, sorry, I got carried away. No! The measure of a real man is how he handles oppression, the way he jumps into battle and fights for his girl. How he pushes onwards and upwards, to wave the flag of victory from the mountaintop. Yay!
Penelope would never have this problem if only she’d come clean and explained everything to hubby. Like about naughty Mondays, and girls nights out, and special weekends at the spa, and if only she mentioned her BFF’s husband. Damn the oversight.
