1. Pendragon and Merlin’s Tomb
The story of the man who would one day rule a kingdom built on honor and chivalry begins in a declining empire. While General Arthur Pendragon defends a northern province of Rome from a barbarian attack, the emperor he serves incarcerates his father for sedition. To rescue his father, Arthur must forsake the emperor and, even worse, leave Rome behind. Racing across medieval Europe with Roman armies and barbarian hordes in hot pursuit, Arthur has one goal: to dispatch his ailing father to safety, beyond the clutches of the emperor who usurped the throne from him. Will Arthur’s prowess on the battlefield see him victorious?
2. Pendragon and the Mists of Britannia
Arthur Pendragon is now a stranger in an even stranger land. Having lost the bulk of his legion, Arthur is forced to land on Britannia, where he finds a powerful ally in Merlin the Mage. The land first seems like a blessing, but treachery manages to find them once more, grasping his father, Uther, in its claws. Meanwhile, another army unknown to Arthur awaits in the north, insulted by the insolence of the new visitors. Soon, Arthur will have to face them as he familiarizes himself with the ways of this foreign land. But before their arrival, can Arthur come to terms with a newcomer to their camp and the secrets he exposes?
3. Pendragon and the Traitor’s Menace
Arthur is forced to begin a new life in a foreign land with nothing. His family is shattered into the wind. His army, long since decimated, his empire, lost. And now, even his name has been taken from him. Nothing he seems to plan works in his favor as alliances made are broken, and what remains are the friends he makes along the way. They stand up for him, they put their lives on the line for him, and they look up to the even-handed manner of accomplishing worthy goals. Arthur gradually begins to learn of his true heritage and his relationship to Merlin. The two begin to form a bond that goes beyond mutual benefit. The foundation of a new Britannia lies in the bedrock of this new kinship between the man who can conjure magic and the man who can forge alliances. Together they begin the adventure of uniting kingdoms.
4. Pendragon and the Clash of Kingdoms
The Huns arrive in large numbers and begin their march into the middle of the isles. As Arthur continues to fight them and push back, Attila and Bishkar refresh their ranks with more expendables and recruits form the continent. Soon Arthur and his allies are overwhelmed, and it looks like all is lost. Arthur realizes that he alone cannot fight the Huns with the help of the Demetian forces and so begins a quest to unite the kingdom, calling on Lancelot, and the other lords. They are, however, afraid of what they have seen the barbarians do to the land and refuse to take up arms to join Arthur. With no other corners to look for help, it looks like the fate of the man who would be king is sealed. Doom befalls him in every stage and around every corner. Will he survive? Will he live to see a united kingdom? Will he prevail? Or will all be lost?
6. Pendragon and the Dawn of Dragons
The world is in decay and gets ever nearer to the final battle… but there’s hope on the horizon!
Attila hurriedly rashes from one ally to the next begging, cheating, and stealing armies to build his forces. His ulterior motives, unclear. Arthur, still suspended in Starhearth seems to decide that he has had enough of all the mortal world has offered him and now seeks to find respite.
Merlin finds he has a contemporary who has powers that far exceed his own but needs his guidance to bring the powers that could help with the war’s progress. Conjuring dragons and meeting with sorcerers and warlocks of old, Merlin manages to find a way forward with no sure outcome but his own will to keep the fires of righteousness and good alight.
But a new hero enters the picture, one who is forced to work with Attila but secretly hides his disdain. Will he manage to vanquish the evil King of the Huns or will he be devoured just like all before him who tried to stick Attila’s head on a pike?
