Paying the Price (#1): It comes as a great shock for Alexis Drake—rock star by day and highly trained secret agent by night—when she returns home to find that her girlfriend, Kasey Cooper, is missing. There are signs of a struggle, and Alex is certain foul play is involved. She immediately contacts her boss, who reluctantly admits that Kasey is a high ranking computer hacker for PLUTO, the same organization which employs Alex.
With the aid of a tracking device she planted long ago, Alex sets off in hot pursuit of Kasey and her kidnappers. Once Kasey is back safely in her arms, however, Alex discovers that her girlfriend knew all along that she was not the only one working for PLUTO. Though Kasey was rescued unharmed and the immediate threat neutralized, the lack of answers about the true motivations of the kidnappers haunts both women.
Afraid that her own carelessness was to blame, Kasey breaks down and blushingly asks Alex if she would help her be more focused with her work, even if that means a long, hard spanking when necessary. Alex agrees, and when Kasey is caught in the act of disobeying the first rule Alex set for her, she bares Kasey’s bottom, puts her over her knee, and spanks her until she is sobbing and truly remorseful.
But with Kasey’s emotions still turbulent from her recent ordeal, it quickly becomes clear that she will need more of Alex’s firm attentions sooner rather than later. Famous Last Words (#2): Picking up a few months after the end of Paying the Price, the story shifts from Kasey and Alex to Kasey’s cousin, Allie and a long term family acquaintance, Taylor. While on a camping trip, Allie and Taylor end up stumbling, quite literally, into a cave, finding themselves trapped and unable to escape on their own. While exploring the cave however, they find much more than rocks and dirt. They not only uncover a two-millennia old secret, which forces Allie to reveal parts of her past, but end up discovering much more about each other as well.
Confused and delighted with their new found feelings for each other, the two women are put to the test as supplies get low and Allie’s secret becomes too much to bear -causing Allie to step forward and take Taylor in hand, baring her backside and spanking her soundly to keep her safe. The chastisement further complicates things as it only makes Taylor fall deeper for Allie. Through it all, Taylor and Allie both worry what will happen when they do escape, not only as they wonder if they will be able to continue to peruse a relationship, but what will the secret unfold as well.
Looking for her cousin, Kasey and her partner Alex also get involved, bringing their organization, PLUTO, into the mix. The greater secret changed everything, shattering not only Taylor’s world, but Alex’s as well, as Kasey finally reveals her true self. Will these new truths been too much for each partner, or will Taylor be brought into the fold, becoming much more than a friend as she decides if her relationship with Allie will escape the walls of their cave?
