The violence that has ravaged Algeria has often defied explanation. Regularly invoked in debates about political Islam, transitions to democracy, globalization, and the right of humanitarian interference, Algeria’s tragedy has been reduced to a clash of stereotypes: Islamists vs. a secular state, terrorists vs. innocent civilians, or generals vs. a defenseless society. The prevalence of such simplistic representations has disabled public opinion inside as well as outside the country and contributed to the intractability of the conflict.

This collection of essays offers a radical corrective to Western misconceptions. Rejecting the usual tautological approaches of inherent, predetermined conflict, Hugh Roberts explores the outlook and evolution of the various internal forces as they emerged – the Islamists, the Berberists, the factions within the army, and the regime in general – and he looks at external interests and actors. He explains their strategies and the maneuvers in which they have engaged. The resulting analyses illuminate the startling dynamics of the conflict and the real issues at stake, and identify the implications not only for Algeria but also for this crucial region.

Informed by a deep knowledge of Algeria and Algerian history, these accessible essays guide the reader through the extraordinary politics of the drama in all its complexity.

Browse Fragment
The browse fragment is what is used to display the browseable categories and options card. The Icon Header Item Presenter is used to setup and display the categories in the headers dock and Card Presenter is used to display the Video cards.

Playback Activity
The Playback Activity is used to play the video from categories. Which used the PlaybackFragment to display the playback controls over the top of the PlaybackActivity.

Search Fragment
The Search Fragment allows users to search for video by either tags or usernames.

Header Grid Fragment
The Header Grid Fragment is used to show a grid of videos from either a Subscriptions or History.

This view extends the ImageCardView class so that we add custom functionality. The functionality of this view is display a video preview of the video card that is currently in focus. It’s made up of the following components:

Cast audio from compatible third party apps on Android 10+

Android 10 introduced the ability for an app to record playing audio from other apps that did not explicitely disable being recorded.
BubbleUPnP leverages that system feature for casting audio from compatible third party audio apps to most external renderers (some of them may not work).
Some popular compatible apps are Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music and Poweramp. There are many more compatible apps but Spotify is notably not compatible.

That feature is called Audio Cast in BubbleUPnP. Audio Cast can be toggled in the renderer selection popup in the Now Playing tab.
Play audio in a compatible app, then toggle Audio Cast on in BubbleUPnP (reversing these steps also work).

Audio Cast is a premium feature limited to 15 minutes of playback per session in the free version of BubbleUPnP.
