Osprey Chronicles Series by Ramy Vance, Michael Anderle (#1,3)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.5MB
Overview: Ramy Vance is a Canadian who lives in Edinburgh with his wife, three-year-old kid and imaginary dog. He enjoys a beautiful city, whisky (Scottish spelling, not mine) and long walks. He writes kickass Urban Fantasy thrillers set in the GoneGod World (and elsewhere). Currently his greatest aspirations are writing more stories and finally get that real dog so he can have an excuse to go on even more long walks.
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble – a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read! Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.
Genre: Fiction > Sci-Fi/Fantasy
1. Rebel Tribe
100s of light-years away from home… No memory of who she is or how she got to the other side of the universe… And the only other person on the ship with her just tried to eat her.
When S.W. Jaeger came too, she was on a starship, hundreds of light-years away from home. Not that she remembers home… Or much of anything. Whatever happened to her wiped out her memories. Engaging the ship’s AI, she is informed that over 378,000 life forms cohabit the ship. But as far as she can tell, she’s alone. What’s more – even if the ship was at full capacity, it was only big enough to house a few hundred crew members at most.
Where the hell is everyone?
The ship needs desperate repairs. When Jaeger enters the belly of the ship, she realizes that there’s someone else onboard. Someone who omits no life-signs and has somehow survived for days in the vacuum of space… He’s awake now, and he’s hungry for blood.
Space vampires can’t be real.
She must fight to survive, but on an unfamiliar ship, far from home and with no memories of what’s happening, what chance does she have? Jaeger may not remember who she is, but something deep inside her screams that the fate of humanity hinges on her completing her mission… whatever it is.
3. A New Home
When the new home you have found for your people is threatened by the past, what do you do? Her allies do not trust her, and old threats loom large. Jaeger has to dive into the darkest recesses of space once more to save her new family. But how do you fight a past you had nothing to do with? The secrets of their new home have come to light, and they threaten to consume everything Jaeger has built.
