The Order of the Fire narrowly avoided a defeat that would have meant the end of humankind. Kate’s heroism and battle prowess once again saved the day.
But something is wrong. Changes in the Order seem to be putting it at risk and the Black Command is losing favor. Some demon plan is afoot, a bad time for there to be turmoil in the ranks.
Kate is concerned about the mysterious things happening around her, but what can she do? She’s barely past being called a recruit, but it seems that she might have to take action, not only to protect humans from the demons, but also from themselves.
