Omni Best Science Fiction Anthologies One – Three by Ellen Datlow (ed. Jerry eBooks 2021)
Requirements: ePUB reader, 8.i3Mb
Overview: Omni, first published in October 1978, is the first glossy mass-market magazine to provide science fiction and fantasy with the forum and format it deserves. Since its premier issue, Omni has showcased some of the most entertaining and thought-provoking sf and fantasy of our times. Just as important, Omni has brought science fiction to readers who have never read it before. The circulation of Omni was larger than all the traditional science fiction markets combined. Omni’s enormous success encouraged writers such as Robert Silverberg to return to short fiction and novelists such as Terry Bisson, Paul Park, and K.W. Jeter to begin writing short fiction.
