Overview: J.A. Armstrong is a woman, a mother, a wife, an author, and an explorer. From a young age she told tall tales and created make believe worlds full of adventure and romance. 2. The Red Carpet

7. Waiting in the Wings
Life after the highs and lows of creating the hit television show OFF SCREEN has fallen into a comfortable routine for Addison Blake and Emma Bronson. Planning their future and spending time with their toddler consumes their days. But, sometimes to appreciate the present and embrace the future, you have to face the ghosts of the past.
Addison has been approached about rebooting the popular show. But, when she tells Emma about the idea, Emma has her own surprise to deliver. Emma has no desire to return to the screen, leaving Addison to attempt to create a new show without her. Navigating family life and the ever blaring spotlight that Addison and Emma live under can present unique challenges. Those pale by comparison to the uphill battle Addison faces as she attempts to overcome her fear of losing Emma. That will require facing the deepest pain she has ever known—the loss of her mother.
Through lots of laughter, a few tears, some skinned knees, and a constant supply of cookies, Addison and Emma endeavor to let go of the past and find faith in each other. 8. Script Doctor
Addison Blake and Emma Bronson are about to embark on a new adventure. After a few years, away from the small screen, Addison is about to revive the hit television show OFF SCREEN in a spin-off called ON SCREEN. Ironically, this time around Emma’s role will be off the screen. As the pair head into the first week of filming, Emma’s parents take the couple’s two daughters away to Kansas so that Addy and Emma can concentrate on their new project. It will be the longest separation Addy and Emma have had from their daughters. It will challenge them both, but also give them an opportunity to rediscover each other.
9. Scene Change
While Addison is overseeing the production of another hit TV show, On Screen, Emma has been keeping residence at her parents’ home in Kansas. Emma is overseeing the progress on a new home the couple is building in her hometown. Emma is expecting their third child, and the separation has given both women the time to think about the future and what each is hoping it might hold. Addison has some unique ideas about the future; ideas Emma desperately wants to embrace but fears Addison might regret. The pair must wade through their fears, their dreams, and their insecurities to find the way forward. Scene Change is the ninth installment of the Off Screen Series. It follows the lives of a popular television actress and her writer wife as they traverse the sometimes amusing, many times challenging landscape of Hollywood notoriety and family.
