Overview: After the events of Uthren, Wit and his friends set a course for Paliat, the Bastion of Ymahlia, where they hope to find the next lead on gathering the legendary Suntears. Wit has already obtained two, including the Blue Suntear, the rarest and most powerful of all. But Wit’s efforts have invited other parties to notice, and not all of them are friendly. Luckily, Wit has the support of his companions: Church, a Sentry of Cavelon, the Wolf of Rein, and his childhood friend Fey. But Wit’s feelings for Fey have changed, and he is uncertain if the change is something that he wants…or rather, what he should want. As the Suntears continue to call and the ocean grows farther away, Wit has no choice but to steel his resolve and persevere down the path he has chosen…even if it means his heart becomes more vulnerable for it.
