Several syndicates and pirate clans are in the process of dividing the planet among themselves when it becomes clear that the children are far more valuable than they appear. The various parties quickly begin to take an interest in Eric and his sisters, Salaya and Eynie. It looks like the children are the most valuable loot to take possession of on Harbour World.
