1. Awakened Vampire

Now she’s making me attend her school until I’ve relearned how to be a civilized human being. Well, I want out. I just graduated high school, and I’m not doing college. Mom is probably worried sick about me. Then there’s Kian. He’s a student at Nightshade Academy with a Color that’s the perfect complement to mine. His smell is intoxicating. He fires up my bloodlust without even trying, and that’s when I realize how in trouble I really am. If I can’t control this bloodlust, I’m going to kill someone.
2. Bloodlust
I gave in to my bloodlust. I almost got Kian and myself killed because of it. Monster hunters, demons, Nighshade’s mysterious benefactor. There’s a lot about this world I don’t know, and it keeps getting worse. Kian’s blood is the only thing I can stomach. Our Colors react, and he knows things about me he shouldn’t. The headmaster of Nightshade Academy says she’s never seen a blood sensitivity as bad as mine, which is probably a nice way of saying my bloodlust is out of control. I’m starting to think I’ll never get out of here or see my mom again. But I’m not giving up. I’m going to beat this—if Kian doesn’t ruin me first.
3. Auras and Colors
My mom is dead. She committed suicide. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. I was going to beat my bloodlust and go back to her. Now I have nothing except for an addiction to Kian’s blood and a twin I didn’t know about. My twin’s name is Archer, and our Colors are reactive. I’m dangerous enough on my own. With Archer, I’m worse. We drain the auras of living things. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I want to know if my feelings for Kian are more than my bloodlust. For once in my life, I want to choose.
4. Den of Demon
Ice ruins permeated by death. A deranged vampire and her pet demon. Visions of Nightshade Academy on fire. Just another chapter in the nightmare that has become the life of Nova Ray. Helena, Nightshade’s benefactor, wants me and my twin, Archer, to find some portal leading into another world, one full of angels and demons. Helena is as good a bet as any after what she did to him, though. Nightshade hasn’t seen her true colors. We have. If Archer and I don’t do what she wants, she’ll kill Kian, and she’ll make me watch every bloody second of it.
5. Deadly Contract
Nightshade Academy is going to burn, and it’s all my fault. Kian and I thought the witch called Helena would start the fire in his visions. We were wrong. It’s Eduardo, my father, the vampire who made me and my twin, Archer, what we are. Madeline, Nightshade’s headmaster, saved me before Eduardo could torture me, but Archer wasn’t so lucky. Eduardo knows Nightshade’s location because he’s been tracking Archer’s every move. If Madeline hadn’t taken pity on us, Nightshade would be safe. But there’s no time to dwell on what-ifs. We have to save everyone before it’s too late. Eduardo started all of this. Now we’re going to finish it.
