She attempts to move on by dating a perfectly nice guy her matchmaking mother found for her. Darius finds out and is jealous with rage. Just as she is focusing on Lawrence’s good traits, Darius shows up and begins to obsess about her. She sees Darius in real life and in her dreams. Will her plans to move on work? Or will Darius find a way to convince her he loves her and will he be able to repossess her? Scheming and planning his repossession takes great concentration, not ot mention his obsession, so when two new mafia goons show up looking for his last girlfriend, this only adds another layer of stress and distraction to his plans. Will Darius be able to repossess Ciara and maintain his secrecy? Or will his enemies be able to keep him from his true love?
3. The Art of Sabotage: Ciara is now in Darius’ full possession and he is deliriously happy. Things are wonderful until her parents and other family members get too close for comfort. Darius has too many secrets he must keep hidden in order to survive in the modern world. Will Darius be able to isolate Ciara all to himself? Will he be able to push her family members away without detection? He manages to manipulate everyone until there is a reported ‘vampire bite’ that has taken place around his business. Ciara’s uncle, Detective Michael Sullivan, has noted this is the second vampire bite reported around Darius’ funeral home. Will Darius be able to keep Ciara all to himself? Or will her uncle and other nosy family members find out who he really is causing him to go on the run again?
4. Distrust: Darius went a bit too far in his control and manipulation of Ciara. She is now exhibiting signs of her own obsessions and her family members are asking too many questions. Dr. Liliana Rodriguez is running a blood study at the local medical teaching hospital. Against her better judgement, she gave Darius a shot of the blood serum. Darius begins to change in ways he never expected. He swears he can feel the return of his human feelings. He wants to feel loved by Ciara, but knows he must release her from his possession as she must be free to return his love. He is too fearful that she is only with him because of his vampiric power and possession over her. Will Darius get the chance to let go of her, or will her meddling parents ruin things for them? Will he be able to let go and set her free? And will her freedom awaken her to only fear of him? Or will she realize she is truly in love with Darius?
