1. Into the Forest – Earth is dying. A select few are chosen from young, strong people who are willing to spend years in suspended animation at a chance for a new life. Dropped into a game where their avatars are anthropomorphic warriors, they settle in to enjoy the ride to the stars.
Avalon, a Wolf archer understands how games are played and he’s good at them. After getting through the first few levels of the game that’s going to be his home for years, he starts helping other players work out how to stay alive, or at least not have to endure the disorientation of getting resurrected when they screw up and die. Like he did back on Earth, he really enjoys assisting others, and he quickly figures out having people around makes the game easier.
Gruso, a Bear warrior struggles to figure out the world he’s thrown into. He understood life on earth, but finding himself stuck in the body of a Bear, swinging a big axe was more than he’d bargained for. On Earth, he spent most of his time working to advance himself, so he didn’t have a lot of time for games. The learning curve leaves him struggling to stay alive.
Together these two come together to help those less fortunate. Protecting the weaker comes naturally to them, even as they enter an unknown forest and the horrors that await them within.
2. Through the Depths – As the journey from Earth to New Aspen continues, the MMORPG that has become their life advances and becomes more complicated.
One of the new additions to the game is a guild system. Avalon, Gruso and their friends are quick to take the opportunity, even as potential rivals do the same. Guilds give players more opportunity for stability, and they quickly become a family.
Since the game doesn’t have a magic system, players are delighted at the addition of psychic powers, even if they do require special quests and items to gain them. Some players don’t like to endure the delays, or put forth the effort to make headway.
A new dungeon opens up to challenge players new abilities and push them to greater heights. New alliances are formed. Foes grow stronger. Can Avalon and Gruso help their guild through the depths, or will they all succumb to the darkness engulfing them?
4. Out of the Cave – New abilities, new friends, and new adventures abound as Avalon, the alpha of Elysium Guild and his guild are always up for the whatever the game throws at them.
With their new friends, the Golden Hammers, at their side, Elysium starts working on their Guild Hall, establishing a permanent home in the game while leveling their members up and taking on new dungeons.
As the Bears solidify their attempts to take over the game, Avalon and Gruso hold their guild together and work to stand against Ursa Major, but will it be enough to safe the other players from the very things they thought they were leaving when they got on the ship and entered the game. Will they be strong enough to overcome human nature?New abilities, new friends, and new adventures abound as Avalon, the alpha of Elysium Guild and his guild are always up for the whatever the game throws at them.
