Elliott knows he’s different. He doesn’t fit in with other people his age – especially his stepbrother Ash – and he doesn’t want to. He prefers to spend most of his time alone…well, mostly alone. When Elliott discovers Ash and Neveah are spending time together, he comes up with a plan to separate them forever.

2. The Thrown-Away Son
Who is Darren Foster? Darren and his mother Diana are new in town. They keep to themselves, following the same routine day in and day out. Darren has no friends, no social life, and no idea who he is or where he and his mother came from. He only knows she’s hiding something.
Alicia works for her local library and, with the help of her cousin Tyler, takes care of their aging grandfather. When the strange, new boy in town comes into the library with his mysterious mother, Alicia is curious. When he decides to take a job at the library, she becomes more intrigued.
