Overview: It was that time of the year again.
Lewis Fall Barrel Festival time. The town was about to welcome thousands of tourists. Connie Cuthbert, the Festival Chair, and Happy Anderson were on it.
Happy’s daily routine was all about coffee aroma mornings and business owner meetings. She wore extra doses of smiles. Until one day before the festival began. Connie was discovered dead in her Fat Cat Cafe truck in the festival mall.
It was a shock to everyone. Despite a couple of disagreements during the meetings, Connie seemed to have a quiet life from the first day she had moved to Lewis Fall town a few years ago with her then husband.
Detective Paul had asked Happy to stay out of it, but she could not resist getting involved in finding Connie’s killer.
Happy was able to check a task that was not on her To Do list. With a little help of a killer’s advice that was said but never meant; “You need to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult.”
