1. Evil This Way Comes: Kenny Loughty, the "bad boy" of the Loughty family, wakes up in bed with a dead woman but claims no memory of the previous night’s events.

John Laoch and Mary Abrahams, owners of a successful venture capital company, and their precocious son, Joshua, are dragged into the mystery.

To add to the danger, a mysterious group has a plan to eliminate opposition and dominate Texas Hill Country’s political and economic life. They employ criminals to enforce compliance, including a killer who seems able to change appearance at will and gain political protection for his activities.

2. The Galveston Incident: An event on the Galveston, Texas docks in 1942 drives a Mexican Drug Cartel to search for a missing treasure of Spanish gold for seventy years.

Then a professor of archaeology and his students excavating close to the border with Mexico go missing, and one of the Cartels might be involved. The professor’s father, Captain LeSeur, begins a search that will take him into danger, but LeSeur has many friends after thirty years working around the Gulf of Mexico.

One of those friends, a Central Texas outlaw, goes to war with the Mexican Drug Cartel, and all hell breaks loose in South Texas.
A mystery, treasure hunt, and thriller combination with a twist at the end.

3. Murder at a Kill Trap: It is 2017, and something very odd is going on west of San Antonio. A killer uses an assassination technique not seen for fifty-plus years on a man but doesn’t take his valuables. The police are baffled.

Not far away, Professor LeSeur is asked to take over a troubled archaeological excavation where someone sabotaged the findings or a respected scientist faked the results.

Why are a local ranch owner and his beautiful daughter interested in a local legend about an “outlaw graveyard” and a lost silver mine? They are so curious that the daughter volunteers at the archaeological excavation.

To help the son of a long-time friend, Mr. Spectre investigates the killing and a mysterious rider who appears intent on disrupting the scientific work. He can assist the local law, but are they willing to accept his help?

4. Matriarch’s Legacy: The hardest part of retirement is staying retired. As a favor to a former team member in the American Intelligence Service, Mr. Spectre agrees to undertake one final assignment. Too late, he realizes that this mission is far more dangerous than a routine meeting in South Texas. Misled from the start, he soon learns he can’t trust anyone, including those he is assigned to protect. Will this be Mr. Spectre’s final mission?

5. Too Many Traitors: The US Navy and DARPA lost one of their unmanned experimental warships in the Gulf of Mexico.
LeSeur Enterprises is hired to find the warship, but someone firebombs their office, and they recommend DARPA hire a former government assassin, Mr. Spectre, to track down the culprit. The assignment soon spirals out of control as Mexican Drug Cartels and an International gang of criminals, among others, plan to steal the experimental warship. The trail of clues leads back to the DARPA software design team and then to a plot with mysterious goals within DARPA and perhaps at higher levels of the US Government.

Mr. Spectre’s old nemesis, Ms. Silvia, is interested in the missing warship. At first, she offers to help with no strings attached, but she soon entangles Mr. Spectre into working as a contractor for the CIA again. An assignment that could get him killed or forced back to his former outlaw life or very rich.
