Morton Farrier Series #6, #7 by Nathan Dylan Goodwin
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 4.00MB
Overview: Nathan Dylan Goodwin: Born in the famed battle town of Hastings, England, I have always had a passion for writing in one form or another.
Having gained a 2:1 degree in Radio, Film and Television studies, I went on to gain a Masters degree in Creative Writing, from Canterbury Christ Church University. For my final assessment on the MA course I wrote the opening chapters to ‘The Forensic Genealogist’, which would – after much editing and redrafting – later become ‘Hiding the Past,’ the first book in the Forensic Genealogist Morton Farrier series.
I started my writing career with non-fiction, my first book ‘Hastings at War’ being published in May 2005. This was followed by three further local history books pertaining to the area around my home town of Hastings. Whilst writing these books I trained as a teacher.
I am a member of the Society of Authors, the Guild of One Name Studies, the Society of Genealogists, as well as being a member of the Sussex Family History Group, the Kent Family History Society, the Norfolk Family History Society and the Hastings and Rother Family History Society.
As you can see, my own family history keeps me very busy and provides lots of research material for my books!
I live in a small Kent village and in any spare moments – whatever that is – I enjoy spending time with my family and son.
When not writing, I can be found researching my family tree, running, pottering in the garden, walking, taking photographs, and, of course reading.
I am currently working on the next installment in the Forensic Genealogist Morton Farrier series.

The Sterling Affair – Morton Farrier Series #6

When an unannounced stranger comes calling at Morton Farrier’s front door, he finds himself faced with the most intriguing and confounding case of his career to-date as a forensic genealogist.
He agrees to accept the contract to identify a man who had been secretly living under the name of his new client’s long-deceased brother.
Morton must use his range of resources and research skills to help him deconstruct this mysterious man’s life, ultimately leading him back into the murky world of 1950s international affairs of state.
Meanwhile, Morton is faced with his own alarmingly close DNA match which itself comes with far-reaching implications for the Farriers.

The Foundlings – Morton Farrier Series #7

Forensic genealogist, Morton Farrier, agrees to take on a case to identify the biological mother of three foundlings, abandoned in shop doorways as new-born babies in the 1970s.
He has just one thing with which to begin his investigation – the three women’s DNA, one of whom is his half-aunt.
With just six days of research time available to him, his investigation uncovers some shocking revelations and troubling links to his own grandfather – and Morton finds that, for the first time in his career, he is advising his clients not to read his concluding report.
