Vince is counting down the days he has left when one of his teammates is injured by a strange creature that closely resembles a dinosaur.
While the rest of his team is excited about his discovery and speculating about what it could mean, both for Genizyz and society as a whole, Vince worries about his injured teammate Sandy.
Everything changes when Sandy kills another member of their team, it is not long before camp is overrun with zombies. Vince must face his fears as he fights these terrible monsters while grappling with other teammates about how to handle the discovery. They insist on returning with what he believes to be the zombie causing contagion while he wants to leave it all behind in the deep jungle.
