1. Mitzie Magee: Vampire Poodle (2012)
Ed Magee meets Mitzi, the Vampire Poodle, in a sleazy bar along with her vampire queen owner, Alicia, and it’s love at first sight—at least on Mitzi’s side. Ed, who just got fired from his newspaper job, is reluctant to enter a world of horror and mystery where vampires use a spa lotion to run around in the daytime and a gorgeous Irish hybrid named Clancy who defines the term "sex kitten" and takes the term “vampire hunter” seriously.
What is Ed Magee to do when he loses his reporting job at the Topeka local newspaper, perhaps take up the dream of being a P.I.? And, well, the die seems cast when he meets a femme fatale in a local bar in true noir fashion.
Of course, this isn’t a hardboiled detective yarn, but a tale of modern vampire sects slowly growing and influencing politics and economics with the simple goal to make humans the subservient breed in the US and eventually the world.
The twist is the woman’s four-legged companion who not only attaches herself to Ed but is able to communicate with him and, when required, rip the throat out of any threat. What more could you want from man’s best friend?
2. Mitzi Magee: Blood Scent (2012)
Who would’ve thought that a poodle, formerly owned by the "Queen of Vampires," a former newspaper reporter, and a gorgeous, good-hearted grifter could form a partnership intent on saving the world?
Ed Magee, Mitzi, and Sylvie travel to The Windy City of Chicago in search of his love, Clancy, and the self-proclaimed "King of the Vampires," Kolchek.
The trio forms an uneasy bond as Ed tries to make Sylvie and her beautiful fashion-model twin-sister roommates believe him regarding the world of vampires, telepathy, and hero-poodles!
Reluctantly, they band together to help Ed reclaim his beloved girlfriend, Clancy, and along the way, experience firsthand how terrifying, intimidating, and sociopathic vampires can be.
3. Mitzi Magee: Nip in Time (2012)
Mitzi Magee, the Vampire Poodle, and her long-suffering owner and partner, Ed Magee, find themselves stranded in merry old England, along with Ed’s girlfriend, Clancy, who soon disappears into the night after an argument with Ed.
Unable to leave with Mitzi because of the British quarantine on pets, Ed takes a job as secretary to Colonel Cushing, patriarch of an old and proud clan and owner of a famous estate, Hargrove Hall, complete with stable and kennels.
Ed soon becomes good friends with Cushing’s grandson, Lester, a brilliant computer game creator under the iron rule of Cushing tradition. But Ed discovers that Lester’s father holds a dark blood secret of unspeakable horror and finds out, thanks to Mitzi, the most faithful of vampire dogs, that Clancy is under the spell of Able House, a men’s club nearby which may or may not be a brothel.
And the upper class gentlemen of Cushing’s closed society seem to be hunting more than just foxes…
