When she’s arrested for the umpteenth time, she thinks it’ll blow over just as quickly. However, Milly’s been framed for high treason for a crime she didn’t, for once, commit. Worse still, a Holy Father has been summoned to judge her, and if he finds her guilty she and her fledgling religion will be cast out as heretics to be hunted. The Chosen of Desire will have to act fast to prove her innocence.
This is the first novella of 9 planned, three of which will star Milly. They connect Chronicles to Reluctant Healer, filling in the gaps. The continent of Palos is in the midst of history, and how will our heroes be apart of it?
