This is a lesbian science fiction novel of 95,000 words. Author’s Note: this story has been kicking around my head for a long time. I first read about the main premise years ago. The concept of wirehead addicts is not new, and I believe the first time I read about it was in Ringworld by Larry Niven, originally published in 1970. Science and engineering give us so many wonderful tools, but nearly any tool can be abused.
