Margaret Mason is a psychiatrist whose clients are Powered Heroes trying to deal with the fame, fortune and stresses their powers create. When she falls for one of her more demented clients, she becomes a target in her own right.
Stanley Kirby is a man whose life is changed forever by a Powered Hero using his laser blast at the wrong time, in the wrong place and hitting the wrong target. His descent into the darker side of the super-powered world is a perception changing nightmare.
Elroy Cockram works for the FBi and is tasked with covering up for, and coping with the collateral damage caused by Powered Heroes. He is hunting a powered serial killer who leaves no trace behind, but removes the faces of their victims
