Overview: Marcia has enjoyed writing for many years but only for pleasure and friends or family. Her first novel Murderous Mishaps is a farcical whodunit set in her favourite hotel in Cornwall, although she did of course change the name so as not to tarnish their reputation. Marcia wrote Murderous Mishaps for a friend, who after regaling her with all the latest gossip said ‘they wouldn’t believe you if you wrote it down.’ So she did. All based on true stories but totally exaggerated of course.
Since then Marcia has written the successful and ongoing Meredith & Hodge series to include the prequel, The Making of Meredith, and the much loved Bearing Witness Series, which delivers murder mysteries with a touch of the paranormal. She has also written several stand alone books.

#8 – Family Matters
Meredith is impatient to get back to work following his illness, but has a few matters to sort out, and a wedding to attend before that happens. The wedding is ruined when Meredith is arrested and his half brother turns up with a body in the boot of his car.
The investigation reveals that Patsy and Amanda are being stalked and are in the sights of a sadistic killer. It seems an old adversary is trying to ruin Meredith’s life before he wipes out everyone Meredith cares about.
While Meredith tries to track down who’s behind it, Hodge goes off on a mission of her own – straight into the clutches of the man who wants to ruin Meredith, step by painful step. He makes it clear she won’t survive their meeting.
#12 – Web of Deceit
Hotelier Stephen Sanderson is dead. Stabbed after hosting a police officer’s wedding. Chief Superintendent David Ashworth is a family friend of the victim and assigns the case to Meredith. Sanderson had a past that the family would rather keep quiet if it’s not related to his murder, but Sanderson’s life style provides the police with many suspects, including some in his own family.
Patsy Hodge is trying to track down a dangerous stalker with very little to go on, and is surprised when one of her suspects is required to supply an alibi for one of Meredith’s.
As their investigations gather pace, it is revealed that all their suspects are connected one to another in a web of deceit.
Who will untangle the web, and will it be in time to stop others being harmed?
