Requirements: ePUB Reader, 1.4 MB
Overview: A.R. Knight writes sci-fi and fantasy in the frozen north of Wisconsin. With a pair of cats keeping him company, he enjoys delving into adventures that are as much about the villain as the hero. After getting a degree in journalism and touring the country installing healthcare software, A.R. Knight thought it would be good to get back to what he loved. So now he’s got a small office and early mornings to spin whatever tales come into his imagination. When he’s not writing, A.R. Knight tends to travel anywhere he can, whether that’s islands off the coast of Ecuador, the rainforest, snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains, or sipping scotch in Edinburgh. That’s the nice thing about the writing life, you can take it anywhere.

The Metal Man (#0)
Is it worth losing everything you are to get revenge for the ones you love? Mox has a good gig going as a guard on Luna, the Moon’s main metropolis. He’s got respect, he’s got a date on the calendar, heck, he’s even got a nice red cape to wear. Then a common criminal proves to be nothing but, and suddenly Mox is tossed into disaster. On the brink of despair, Mox must make a choice that will forever change his future. The Metal Man is a short story prequel set in the Wild Nines universe.
Wild Nines (#1)
Davin prefers taking a hard drink to taking a punch, but when his crew’s contract is canceled, he’s up for both. The Wild Nines provide security for Eden Prime, a small spaceport on Jupiter’s frozen moon, Europa. Some people on the station, though, need someone to pin their problems on and Davin’s crew make the perfect patsies. Enter Viola, an engineer ditching her dad’s dreams for a joyride around the solar system. One bad choice of bar and now she’s tied up with Davin and the Nines, lasers blasting at their backs. Can Davin and Viola stay alive long enough to get revenge, or will they become one more played pawn in someone else’s game?
Dark Ice (#2)
Davin’s got himself blackmailed, and getting out from under dirty fingers means flying to the edge of profitable space. Turns out Neptune makes some shiny ice diamonds. They’re so valuable that pirates hijacked the experimental ship sent to mine them. Now, if they want their names cleared, the Wild Nines have to get it back. Viola’s trying to find her place on the crew, which means that when things go sideways, her fingers has to be on the trigger, not running from it. It’s a new perspective, a dangerous one. Davin, Viola, and the rest of the Wild Nines have to deal with the deadly band of space pirates, who, turns out, might have some friends, or Neptune’s cold skies will make for an icy grave.
One Shot (#3)
Davin’s got some loot to sell and a lifetime of troubles to drown. The Wild Nines head for Miner Prime, a space station with a knack for screwing up their plans. This time’s no different, with a band of desperate attackers splitting up Davin’s crew and taking hostages. Viola has to pick a side, and finds that saving lives isn’t as easy as taking them. Especially when those lives belong to her enemies. The fighting sends Davin and Viola to Earth, where they’ll have to overcome their greatest enemy yet, or watch their friends burn.
