Overview: Violet Hansen never expected the Trux to overtake her homeland. After all, Rinfero had been governed peacefully by the Pax and Trux for as long as she could remember. But when the Pax get imprisoned, Violet included, things change.
Violet attempts to escape the prison with her boyfriend and little brother, but when they get caught, she’s punished. After waking up with no memory of those closest to her, or her failed escape, Violet is assigned to be a hunter: an assassin trained to kill Pax.
As Violet navigates the confusing morality of killing innocent Pax, she realizes that she’s losing herself. The question is: will Violet be willing to risk it all to find herself again?
