In India, you can often observe the situation when a huge elephant is tied to a tiny peg and he stands quietly without even trying to get free. How come? It’s because when an elephant was a baby, it was pulling on the rope to see if it can go free. When baby elephant figured out that once again it was futile, it stopped pulling and settled down and stayed where it was. An adult elephant can easily get rid of this peg (it has enough strength for that).But it doesn’t even try, because since the early age the ELEPHANT BELIEVES THAT IT’S IMPOSSIBLE!
