Overview: M.W.Fletcher spent his early childhood years on RAF bases in the UK and around the World. He served in the Royal Marine as part of 42 Commando. Basic training at Lympstone and then initially deployed to Bickleigh barracks near Plymouth. Arctic and jungle warfare trained in Norway and Belize. Specialisation, sniper after successfully completing the 12-week sniper course etc. At present, he is a Risk Assessor and trainer/coach, part of this job entails, training drivers in vehicle dynamics, skid avoidance and control, ABS and ESP systems, 4×4 off road driving, as well as collision investigation.
He draws on these life experiences from his past including some historical events, to write as well as an active imagination. He is married with two children and lives in the UK.
