Requirements: .ePUB Reader | 314 kb
Overview: The Maristad gives their lives purpose. The higher they climb, the more influence they have over fashion, food, holovision, and politics. Those who sit astride the Maristad, at the top of the immense towers, bend and shape all things. The Maristad is more than just a system of governance. It’s a way of life. People need only think of their upward momentum.
Tomlin is a dredge. He lives off his universal basic income, and spends his free time outside the towers trying to gain access to a derelict power sphere. He read a vague reference in the archives that suggested souls power the spheres, and hopes access will benefit him. What he doesn’t know is that attempting to control the sphere will change his knowledge of everything. He’ll find out the Maristad is rigged, and will be part of events that alter their world forever.
