Overview: It is the year 43 CE, and Camp Prefect Gaius Pullus, his son Centurion Titus Volusenianus Pullus, and Gnaeus’ half-brother Centurion Titus Corbulianus Pullus are participating in Emperor Claudius’ invasion of the island of Britannia. So much unbearable loss and betrayal has transpired over the previous twenty years for the Pullus family, but this is not just a matter of duty for Gnaeus.
