Overview: Kate Kingsbury is a full-time author known for her cozy mystery novels, which include the Pennyfoot Hotel Mysteries, set in Edwardian England; the Manor House Mysteries, set during World War 2 in an English village; and the Merry Ghost Inn Mysteries, a contemporary series set at a bed and breakfast on the Oregon coast. She began telling stories at a young age and published her first book in 1987. Kate also writes mysteries under the pen names Rebecca Kent and Allison Kingsley, and romance novels as Doreen Roberts.
