Her jade eyes burn a hole into my soul. There’s a certain calmness that envelops me when Amy is around. I’ve missed this.
Since we were kids, my heart has always been set on her. A burning passion blazes inside, deeper than the crimson in her hair… and no girl has ever come close to making me feel the way Amy has.
But, she can’t know. At least not yet, as I am not the man she deserves. My youthful follies with women still haunts me to this day. I can see the distrust in her eyes even though she’s quite fond of me.
I’ll find my way around her walls eventually. I just have to figure out how.
Amy
Jared has changed since the last time I saw him. He’s warmer, kinder. Even more irresistible. As children, he always had a way of conjuring butterflies in my stomach out of nowhere.
The problem is that he has a bad habit of breaking women’s hearts. While my skin secretly yearns for his touch, I can’t put myself through that. Jared will forever be just a friend. I don’t care if he flashes me that gut-wrenching smile. Or if he squints those smoldering blue eyes in a way that makes my toes curl.
I just can’t. I… oh, no. I’m not even sure if I’m strong enough.
Now that we’re older, a lot of things have happened that caused me to rethink my stand on this self-imposed “No Jared” rule. There’s just something different about him and it’s making me feel… vulnerable.
Is this even a good idea?
2. A Love Unquestioned – He and her, in a magical town that brings out the best in both of them. Will love finally win over arbitrary fears? We can only wait and see.

We’re on the road towards a new beginning and I can’t help but wonder if I’m dreaming. Amy’s fiery hair tousles gently in the wind, her green eyes turn luminescent in the dwindling rays of the sun.
For the life of me, I can’t figure out why it took me this long to actually do something about my feelings for her. I’ve wasted so much time.
No matter. We’re here now, in this car that’s starting to feel a little too small for the two of us. All these big emotions bubbling towards the surface and I only have merely a few inches of space to buffer myself and this woman I’ve been in love with since childhood.
What could go wrong?

We finally did it!
Jared and I are off to California. Leaving our small hometown has uncovered so many raw emotions that I can’t even fathom. At least, not yet.
And just our luck, our journey is made more colorful with a new friend we picked up by the side of the road. How exciting!
The pavement has led us to a gorgeous town in Montana. It’s magical. You have to see it to believe it! The problem is that being surrounded by all this beauty has stirred up some rather – dare I say – premature feelings inside Jared and me.
But we will have to deal with them some other time. California is waiting. And while this small Montana town has conjured warm feelings inside both of us, it is still yet another small town… not much different than the one we left behind.
