But if he’s innocent, why doesn’t he take her to the embassy to report her misadventure? Why did he insist on a road trip through the Peloponnese to retrieve her passport from the mobster it was sold to? And why are they skulking away from the police in a small boat to Mykonos?
She should run, but logic isn’t proof against his smile.
