Ghostly Fright
Lorna Shadow, Helen, and Flipper face a huge challenge when arranging a new client’s Halloween party. Not only is the client’s ancient gothic house full of misbehaving ghosts, but everywhere Lorna turns, something’s trying to terrify her.
Fleur de Bloom, the famous horticultural business, is launching a range of Halloween-themed plants. Lorna is in charge of making sure the party goes with a swing, and Helen is set the tricky task of catering for a thousand guests. Spiderweb cookie, anyone?
A problem arises when a pink-haired ghost won’t leave Lorna alone. And when Lorna discovers the bizarre way the woman died, she realizes the ghost is staying for a reason. That reason is murder!
With an annoying uncle who enjoys dressing in spooky costumes and scaring everyone, a feckless brother who might not be as stupid as he appears and a grumpy maintenance man with a dodgy sideline in selling stolen goods, Lorna must figure out who would most benefit from this murder, and how she can prove it.
