Overview: Prior-service out of Fort Riley, Kansas, and an avid shooter and gamer, Callen Durand made his debut as an original-English light-novel and graphic novel author in July of 2023 with his flagship series, Kōrihime’s Bloodhound. A high-octane thriller with romcom elements, the "KHB" universe is a true nod to the Japanese anime, manga, and light-novels that inspired it. Likewise, his decision to hire indie mangaka (manga/comic artists) to illustrate in his novels comes from his love of Japanese media and the wish to foster the next generation in the evergrowing, now world-wide industry.
