But it won’t be easy. Uriel will have to rely on his faith, his newfound friends, and the skills and knowledge he brings from back home, as he throws himself headlong into a new conflict, becoming a beacon of light on this new world!

Sometimes, the right choice is not an easy one to make.
But even when it is, the right choice is often not the easy one.
But when one knows right from wrong, the choice is clear.
Uriel Makkis didn’t know what to expect when he finally met the king of Fulnar, apart from learning exactly why he had been pulled to this new world.
He did not expect to become an immediate enemy of the state.
The twin revelations that he was summoned to be used as a weapon of conquest, and that his fellow Swords were evil people from back on Earth, however, made that inevitable.
Without intending to do so, Uriel finds himself embroiled in a far larger conflict, one that has the potential to alter the balance of power on this alien world.
Knowing that his new friends stand on one side, with their enemies, and his own enemies from Earth on the other, Uriel doesn’t need to think long about what he will do.
However, as he throws himself into the fight alongside his rebel friends, it also becomes clear how outmatched they are.
But for a Jewish soldier, fighting in the face of bad odds is nothing new. The only way to move is forward.

Journeying into the unknown is a daunting task, even for those prepared to do so.
True heroes are those who will take that journey when the need arises, despite their fears.
Facing the unknown is less daunting, however, for those fortunate enough to be in the company of trusted comrades.
Uriel Makkis and his small group of friends have successfully escaped the Kingdom of Fulnar for the friendly, elf kingdom of Valtenar, but that doesn’t mean things are going to get any easier.
In a very short amount of time, Uriel has to convince the king that his ideas can give them a fighting chance once Fulnar brings the war to them. If only that was all he had to do.
Amid all the war preparations, he and his team must venture out toward the mountains, following a vision Uriel received about an ancient and powerful artifact known as the Sigil of Unity.
While he doesn’t know precisely what it is capable of, he cannot let the enemy secure yet another advantage over them.
What Uriel and his friends don’t realize is just how dangerous this journey will be. The powerful enemies he has faced before, the Sword or Earth, the Sword of Nature, and the Sword of Storms, will be just one of the dangers he and his friends will have to face on the quest for the Sigil.
Light Unto Another World: Volume 4
It is often said that one person can change the world.
However, few give that concept much thought beyond the basic idea.
A change can be for the better, for the worse, but what is certain is that once the change is made, there is no going back.
While their mission to stop the other Swords from claiming the Sigil or Unity was a success, war is still coming, and preparations must be made if they’ll stand any chance at all.
With the odds so heavily stacked against them, Uriel Makkis made a choice.
He has introduced the technology of firearms to his friends and allies.
Following their return to Valtenar, Uriel and his team throw themselves completely into the war preparations, with Uriel finding himself falling into a greater position of leadership than he had planned on, but it is a role he can accept.
However, Uriel is not only utilizing his knowledge of technology from back home; he intends to draw on additional knowledge, so help his demi-human friends, people whom he has come to identify with, reclaim their place on this world.
But before any of that, he and his team must survive an unplanned adventure that brings with it an entirely different set of dangers, and new foes.
Light Unto Another World: Volume 5
The trouble with victory, at times, can be what comes next.
In particular, a resounding victory in battle can lead to unwanted attention, as other, powerful forces start to see you as a threat that must be eliminated.
For this reason complacency is the greatest enemy of success; only constant vigilance, both during the fight and afterward, can ensure those vital gains won’t be lost as quickly as they were attained.
While the Kingdom of Valtenar and its demi-human allies have won a decisive victory over the numerically superior forces of the Kingdom of Fulnar, the war has only just begun.
This fact is one that Uriel Makkis will not let himself forget.
With no real way to match the enemy in numbers, the elven and demi-human armies must rely on clever tactics and technological advances to even the odds.
For Uriel, that means drawing on more technology from back home.
However, even as this work continues, and smaller-scale battles are being fought, there are signs that the war is taking on a new dimension, a religious one.
As if Uriel needed another reminder of things back home.
And just like back home, Uriel, knowing he is on the right side, and doing the work of the One True God, will do everything in his power to defeat any new foe that arises.
But not alone, of course; with his team forging itself into an ever more effective fighting unit, it would take something powerful indeed to stand in their way.
