BOOK 1: Lemon Pie Murder: The lemon pie factory wasn’t that far from the police station. And that said, it only took agent Morris a couple of minutes to get there. And just like she had expected, there was yellow tape all over the compound in a bid to keep off the curious civilians from checking out whatever the heck was going on in there. And that said, Agent Morris got from her police car and made her way straight to the house.
BOOK 2: Lemon Pie Murder: “Are you sure about the findings?” the commander asked, his stern eyes transfixed on the lead forensic scientist. “Commander, asking me if I am sure is like insulting my intelligence. I have taken a hell lot of time to make sure that the findings are at par. So yes, I am one hundred percent sure that the results are right.”
Every police officer stood stock still. Was this the end of their investigation? Was Agent Morris responsible for the murder of Mrs. Jones? At that point in time, it was difficult to tell.
BOOK 3: Lemon Pie Murder: “Well, it looks like we are having ourselves an old fashion standoff!” the commander said, his gun pulled out and pointed at one of the assailants.
Agent Morris was still in tears, trying as much as possible not to break down while pointing her gun at the man who had just come back from the dead. All of the forensic scientists, with the exclusion of Agent McCartney, were all on the floor with their hands over their heads. If at all one bullet were to fly, then there was absolutely no way that they were ever going to survive an assault. And that said, the only thing that could have been done at the time was to wait and see how things were going to play out in the end.
