Overview: "The Last Whisper of the Gods: Stories from Ayberia" is the ultimate supplement to "The Last Whisper of the Gods" trilogy. Designed for anyone who has read and enjoyed the epic three-novel fantasy series, this volume provides a deeper look into the world in which the adventure took place and the characters who participated. Divided into three sections, the book offers insight into the periods before, during, and after "The Last Whisper of the Gods." The first part of "Stories from Ayberia" contains eight short story prequels, each of which provides background to one or more of "The Last Whisper of the Gods" characters: "The Priest", "The Virgin", "The Knave", "The Warrior", "The King’s Man", "The Serving Wench", "The Iron King", and "The Spymaster". The second portion comprises six "deleted scenes" from the trilogy with new material featuring all of the major participants. The final part is a 100-page sequel novella, "The Prelate’s Legacy", that transpires 15 years after the conclusion of "Shadow of the Otherverse."
Please note: "Stories from Ayberia" is not intended as a stand-alone book nor should it be read prior to the consumption of the trilogy (it contains numerous, extreme spoilers). This is an adjunct to "The Last Whisper of the Gods" not a formal fourth volume.
