The Kyleverse is a series of sentient object romance short stories. Kyle isn’t the main character, but he shows up to help the plot in one way or another. The stories are sequential but can be read as standalones.

Taylor knows that she needs to clean up her yard before trash pick up tomorrow, but when she heads to her garage to get her supplies, something seems off. Luckily, her best friend, Kyle, is available to offer his services. When the two come together to deal with the leaves, Taylor meets Connor, who rocks her world.

“This one’s faulty. It has some, uh, quirks.” His voice is low and mischievous and his description almost makes the toy sound dirty. Is he flirting with me? He smiles at me again. “But I’ll give you a deal if you want it.”
Chloe is drawn to a toy store where she acquires a cute new furry friend with some quirks. It might be faulty, but Chloe is not disappointed when she finds that her new toy has a similar idea of fun. She and her coworker, Kyle, discover together how good playtime can be with their new friend.
