Overview: Thomas Jenner: Originally from Los Angeles, California, currently living in Austin, Texas. Tom’s unique imagination runs at high speed, as if whole universes reside within it. He approaches storytelling based on what it would look like as a movie rather than how it should read in a book, which gives his stories an interesting flow – different than the norm but still gripping on the mind. Tom started an entertainment company with Angeline Perkins, a digital artist and character designer. They bend toward survival horror, but also have a strong affinity for supernatural, sci-fi and action. He cites his main inspirations as The Matrix, Mission Impossible, Stargate, 24, The X-Files, and The Walking Dead. Angeline Perkins: Artist by trade, writer on the side. Angeline has a wide spectrum of interests: music, art, cooking, computers/technology and gaming to name a few. She has been involved in digital art and graphic design since 2006. Graduating in 2013 with a BS in Computer Animation and Game Art, she has committed herself to digital art and uses that passion to help bring her projects to life. Along with her creative partner Thomas Jenner, she helps maintain the visual appeal of storytelling through the use of 3D modeling and painting. With Thomas she co-founded Survive Entertainment (a creative group focused on the survival horror genre) where she is the art director. Her belief is that art tells stories just as well as words do. She lives in Texas with her husband and son.

A series of diary entries through the eyes of a little girl as she tries to survive the end of the world. This book is entirely from the viewpoint of a little girl writing to her diary. You meet Kellie, a bright and inquisitive young girl living the typical suburban life with her family; she goes to school, complains about lunch, and thinks boys are gross. She also writes daily entries into her diary, whom she calls "Barbie." However, her world is turned upside down when a strange illness takes over the city. During a massive outbreak, Kellie finds herself completely alone and stranded at school. She must find her way out and figure out how to get home, braving the dangers of the "monsters" that have taken over… all the while telling "Barbie" what is going on and what she’s thinking. Follow Kellie’s journey as she ventures out into the world, braving dangers of all kinds, both natural and unnatural, expected and surprising. She must learn to survive based on her own wits, and she will also learn which instincts she should trust.

Almost four years after the events of "Kellie’s Diary #3", Kellie and her younger sister have steadily grown accustomed to life around them. They’ve long since left Texas, traveling with a mobile community. It’s the longest they’ve ever stayed with one group, but remaining steady in a moving environment has it’s share of challenges… and secrets. This issue also contains the short story "Sarah’s Despair" (also available in the collection Kellie’s Diary: Decay of Innocence).
