Overview: At university I studied archaeology and medieval history. I have had an interest in the history of all periods for as long as I can remember, and one in writing fiction that goes back almost as far. Often I combine the two in producing my novels. While it may not always be readily apparent from my stories, I am a romantic at heart, (hence my single foray into the realms of non-erotic Regency Romance) so you will mostly find a Happy Ever After at the end of my books, though it may not always be quite the kind you expect. I like strong and courageous heroines, so weak, wilting and readily accepting women do not feature as central characters in my stories.

Kate and Julia are young and inexperienced, and accompanying recently widowed Mrs Penelope Winter through India. Returning to their rooms late one night, they are kidnapped and find they are to be trained and sold as sex slaves. Horrified, terrified and scandalised that this could be happening to them, they soon discover that being British makes no difference to the way they are treated. For each of them it is a journey of sexual self-discovery, although they take to their new situation in very different ways.
Mrs Winter, meanwhile, is armed and in search of them, and finding out for herself that a woman alone and without much money in India may have to satisfy the desires of those she meets in order to elicit the assistance she needs.
Slave Girls of the Raj: Imprisoned far from each other in the remote mountains of India, both Kate and Julia are suffering the pain and indignity of being trained as slave-concubines. Julia is horrified as much by her body’s arousal as by the treatment she receives from Jahngir Khan, and more so by the arousal she experiences when one of Jahngir’s concubines is instructed to pleasure her.
Kate’s position is somewhat worse, as she suffers punishment from Ross for trying to escape and threatening him with a gun. Worse still, bound and left alone by Ross as part of her punishment, the sadistic Jefferson finds her and decides to administer a severe flogging.
Meanwhile, Penelope Winter is still in search of the two girls, and forced into acts of ever-increasing depravity by the officials she goes to for help, British and Indian alike.
